Jessica received her degree in Special Education from the teacher’s College of Western Governors University with a concentration in early childhood education. She completed her student teaching internships in an adapted curriculum classroom of students with special needs in the high school setting and an inclusion first grade classroom for licensure. After graduation, she took an interest in the philosophies of Maria Montessori and developed extensive experience in a primary Montessori classroom focusing on learning strategies of young children of all abilities to work on their individual levels. This experience grew her interest in behavior therapy leading to her receiving her credential as registered behavior technician. Jessica has worked as a teacher and RBT in the clinic and school settings with all ages. She enjoys promoting growth and development of the whole child to enhance their quality of life and independence. Jessica also teaches enrichment classes including sign language and fitness. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, photography, and traveling.
