Ashley graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors’ degree in English & Communications and a minor in Professional Education. She started in the classroom of a private school for those with differing abilities as an assistant for 2 years before starting her first year as a Lead Teacher in August 2018. She has worked with students on the spectrum, students with Down Syndrome, students with intellectual and physical limitations, those with language and communication barriers, behavioral disorders, and more.
Through many years of volunteer work and experience working with her special needs younger sister, Ashley developed a passion for teaching those with disabilities. Her patience and classroom management style create a safe place where students can thrive. Ashley has experience with ABA techniques and is striving to learn all she can in the field in an effort to continue helping a community so close to her heart by making the classroom a place where education and therapy combine for amazing results.
